Stress Relief!!

My students need stress relievers to help them cope with their ADHD without medication. The exercise ball and the desk bands would help.

My Students

I have about 20 students that come from a low SES background. Most of them are from broken homes and they live with their fathers. They are very high energy that need a lot of movement through out the day. I have a few flexible seating, but would like more. They are mostly boys and good hearted. They just need ways to cope with all their bottled up energy with out medications. We are a very small low income school.

My Project

The project I have chosen are with desk bands. The desk bands will help my students with movement to help them stay focused on class. It is a great way for them to relieve built up movement that they may have. I teach in a self contained classroom. The students do not get to get up and move around a lot since they do not switch classes. This project would give them an opportunity to move without destroying the other students. I also think it is a great way to get the left brain right brain movement. It is good for all level of students.
