My Project

While exciting, seventh grade can be stressful: a larger building, more teachers, more classes, and more choices. My goal is to provide my students with as stress-free an experience as possible. This week, I have met many of my students as they tour the building; while they are nervous, they are very excited and ready to learn.

I am asking for a wide variety of materials.

Here is how I plan to use them. Anxiety-reducing strips provide a low-key way to reduce nerves. With the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I will buy more Quick Labs so my students can do more hands-on science. The sticky notes and index cards will allow us to learn as a group and share ideas more easily. The morning meeting questions will provide more opportunities for my students and me to learn about each other and share our experiences.
