My Project
Our students come from varying family structures and socioeconomic backgrounds. Over a third of our students are from low income households. For many students and families, financial situations can cause added stress.
Promoting kindness to others and relieving stress in the classroom can promote a positive environment for learning and growth.
Fun items like colorful sunglasses, plushies, and other treats can help provide incentives for positive behavior and academic growth. Other items like stress balls and squishy toys are fun but also stress relieving! Some other items like stylus pens are a great complement to the touchscreen Chromebooks provided by the school.
