My Project
Most of my students are Hispanic/Latino or Black/African American. My students love to participate in class discussions as they listen to stories. They are curious about the world and people and love to share their ideas and thoughts. Help give my students more access to literature and help them gain a deeper understanding of Black History. Through various black history books, my students will learn about Black inspirational figures' experiences, lessons, values, and significant contributions. These books will also benefit my students by strengthening their cultural awareness and challenging stereotypes.
