My Students

My students work hard, love to learn, be creative, use hands-on math materials, and dive into the world of technology. I teach third grade in a Title I school, where many of the students come from low-income areas with their basic needs barely met.

I'd love to provide the best experiences in the classroom to help them prepare for the life ahead.

I need your help to give them everything they need to be successful in this world. They are the future! Thank you.

My Project

This year has been harder than ever! Besides just the emotional stress the pandemic has caused, my students now have major gaps in their learning. These games and tools will help me catch them up.

I'm requesting many math games that will help my students really understand key concepts, like multiplication, division, and fractions.

Learning through playing games, helps my students learn in fun, stress-free environment.

I know my students will love to learn coding while playing with the Dash Bot. The many STEM materials I am requesting will help with our STEM Challenges, and help my students develop critical thinking, problem solving, and group work skills.

I am also requesting a few books, some math read alouds and a few books for my classroom library.

The butterfly kits will be used with our science unit on animal life cycles. My students will love to see first hand the life cycle of a butterfly.
