This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the 2025-2026 school year, I want my 3K/Pre-K students to come to my STREAM classroom to feel culturally accepted by adding more native language reading books at the library interest area.

Exposure to different languages early on enhances children's ability to learn multiple languages.

This helps with overall language development, vocabulary building, and literacy skills in their native language too.

I want to introduce my students to different languages, so they feel like their cultural diversity is being appreciated in my classroom. My students will learn to respect and understand other cultures and their different languages as well.
