My Project

Help me put fine motor tools in the hands of my students. The earlier in a child's life that we give them practice and resources to use to strenthen their finger muscles, the more successful they will be as they grow and develop in their education. Kindergarten students have smaller hands and need hands-on materials to work on their small, fine motor skills.

Developing fine motor skills helps children do things like eating, writing, and manipulating objects.

My goal is to help strengthen and build upon the fine motor skills that my students already have when coming into kindergarten. The materials will be used for small group activities throughout the school year and will be benefical for all students.

Practicing fine motor skills will help children have a solid foundation for their future everyday tasks. Developing fine motor skills early in life, helps students to become stronger learners! Along with creativity, these items will accomplish my goal.
