This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In order for our school to perform well in volleyball this year, I am hoping to create a workout regimen that students can follow to help them train and do well. Our school has a fitness lab, but unfortunately our equipment is lacking which does not allow the fitness lab to be a valuable resource for our school's athletes. With this project, I am hoping to be able to find better equipment and create an environment for students to train their legs for jumping and arms for serving and spiking and be able to grow stronger, thus becoming fiercer competitors. The bench, weights, and bar will be useful for me to teach my volleyball players various exercises to help them train their leg and arm muscles, which are muscle groups essential in volleyball.

I not only want my volleyball players to build their strength and power, but also learn to be disciplined and follow a workout regimen so they can learn to set goals and attain their true potential.

I am also hoping that when the team works out together, it will allow them to build bonds and help them become better teammates (by supporting and encouraging each other)!
