My Project
Waipahu High School is a Title 1 school that is a second home for many students, including EL students, from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our EL students come from different countries and try their best to learn and gain as much knowledge as possible at school. However, many lack technology support at home and need more time to work on their assignments after school.
With technology tools, such as headphones with microphones and wireless mics, students can work on their assignments for speaking, listening, reading, writing, and various projects.
Moreover, the snacks you provide can help our students maintain their energy levels so they can continue working on their assignments after school.
