Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have an upcoming event. They are going to be visiting a Strawberry farm. We will be doing our strawberry theme to get ready for our trip. My students will be learning about the life cycle of a strawberry and planting their our strawberry plant to have at home.

We are asking for mounting tape, t-shirts, seeds, and toner for our printer.

The seeds are going to be used to plant in the classroom for observation purposes and to build background knowledge before we go on the field trip. The t-shirts will be used to paint strawberries on them so they can wear during the trip for identification of our class. The tape is going to be used to display their art work in the class. The toner is needed in the class during the unit to print artwork, classwork and reports students will be writing. By helping us with this project you will be enhancing our learning in preparation for our field trip.
