My Project
Students learn best through games and strategy games are a great way to help students learn as well as increase their grit, or ability to work through hard problems. Having more strategy games will help students to increase learning without even realizing they are doing it.
Battleship is a great game to teach students about coordinate grids while chess and mancala help students to improve critical thinking skills. My students love to use stools to gather around extra tables and desks to play games and collaborate Unfortunately a lot of our stool have started to break, so getting a few more will help to create more places for students to play.
