This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are amazing and talented young children. They are second graders who have a wonderful thirst for knowledge and learning about the world outside of their community. These students come from a Title I school, meaning that they are in a low income home. My students deserve the fair chance that all other students get with materials and special school supplies. Donating to my students would be donating to help better their education for now as well as their future.

My Project

Our building is brand new and beautiful, however we are in great need of storage space in the classrooms.

My classroom needs cabinets and personal seat pockets to store all of the great materials that help the students grow during their second grade year.

My students will benefit from these seat pockets because each student will have the ability to access the materials that they need in order to be successful right at their seats.

My students will benefit from the storage and cabinets by being able to sort and organize the math manipulatives so they can have easy access.
