My Students

The fourth graders at my school just finished an incredible year of third grade! They had incredible growth. Their scores are up and most students are fantastic readers! They have worked very hard to get where they are today! I want to keep this growth going.

Our students are hard workers.

They believe in themselves. They WANT to grow!

They will have me, a NEW 4th grade teacher this year. I have taught 20 years in 1st and 2nd! I need a classroom library!

My Project

My students will use these exciting magazines to learn and practice their reading skills. The magazines have exciting storylines and will engage students with vocabulary, reading fluency and comprehension. The colorful pictures and graphics will pull them in and give them something interesting to read.

Storyworks magazines spark the curiosities needed for engagement.

It is so hard to get kids excited about reading these days, but I hope this will help.

These fascinating, important stories ignite a sense of wonder, whether it's in nonfiction, fiction, drama, poetry, or a surprising text pairing. My students will be engaged and excited to do Storyworks Magazines.
