Storytime Magic: Yoto Audiobooks for Our Classroom

Help me give my students Yoto audio cards featuring Zog, The Gruffalo, Disney Classics, Sesame Street, Narwhal & Jelly, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid providing storytelling that enhances literacy, engagement, and a love for reading.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of young learners who are curious, imaginative, and eager to grow. My students thrive when learning is interactive and engaging, and they light up when stories come to life. Many of them are still developing their reading skills, and audiobooks provide a wonderful way to boost comprehension, vocabulary, and a love for storytelling.

This project will bring Yoto audio cards into our classroom, offering screen-free storytelling that supports literacy development in an exciting and accessible way.

These audiobooks will allow students to follow along with beloved stories, reinforcing fluency and comprehension while making reading a fun and immersive experience. With engaging collections like Zog, The Gruffalo, Disney Classics, Sesame Street, Narwhal & Jelly, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, there’s something for every learner to enjoy.

The goal of this project is to create a literacy-rich environment where all students can access high-quality stories, whether they are listening independently, in small groups, or during whole-class storytime. These resources will especially benefit struggling readers, English language learners, and students who need extra auditory support.

What makes my students special is their love for learning and storytelling. They are kind, creative, and always excited to discover new books. With these Yoto audio cards, I hope to inspire a lifelong love of reading while making literacy more accessible and enjoyable for every child in my classroom. Thank you for helping bring the magic of stories to my students!
