My Students

I work with a wonderful group of 3rd grade students. They are growing and learning in an amazing school community. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career.

I appreciate how hard they work for me every day, and I would be thankful for any support you can give them.

It is my goal to make learning as fun and exciting to encourage and create life long learners.

My Project

These magazines will help to create the print-rich classroom I strive to create. Guided reading is one of our favorite parts of our day. With storyworks magazines I can take my students on fictional and nonfictional adventures fostering a love for reading. With each issue students will be able to build their reading, thinking, and writing skills. This thrilling multi genre magazine will help my growing readers turn into fluent readers. We will navigate through each issue during guided reading by close reading the texts. Students will be able to analyze, make connections, and share their thinking with their peers at our guided reading table.
