My Students

My school is located in rural Jackson County. I have a total of 18 students right now in my classroom; I am mixed with Head Start and preschool students within my room.

They are a fun-loving bunch of kiddos who show interest in everything that we do.

They are each unique in every way. They are enthusiastic, loving, and caring, and they love each other very much. We are not just a preschool classroom; we are a loving family.

My Project

With Storytime, and the use of felt boards and felt board puppet materials we can learn about stories and sequencing of events in the story, this is a great way for students to retell the story with felt board props. Students can also use the puppets and the felt board to tell stories in their own way. With the puppets students will be learning rhyming words to help build their vocabulary. For the students that is virtual this also gives them the chance to see visual on the story and make learning from home a little more fun.
