This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Books, literature, texts, graphic novels, etc are essential in ensuring our students are aware of the things happening around them. Literature hits on the world's topics, themes, truths, and stories. The use of headphones can further student's drive for literature. Like all classrooms, my classroom is filled with different learning types. Several students of mine are auditory learners who learn best through listening.
I am on a mission to provide different avenues of learning for the various learning styles found within my classroom.
Through the use of headphones, all my students will have the opportunity to listen, pause, and rewind their favorite stories, podcasts, or videos. We are incorporating the use of independent reading to reintroduce to students the power of reading. With the gifts of headphones you will be opening the door to several reading platforms and book selections students can access.
