This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our softball team is the first girl's team of our middle school. We are the Storm, and like a raging storm, we are going to defy expectations and completely demolish our opponents. However, each year we lose a great number of uniforms from overuse, to ripped pants. These uniforms are needed to display our team spirit and dedication to our school and softball. A uniform fosters team unity, which in turn can keep my girls motivated to succeed. It also creates solidarity between players.
Wearing identical uniforms creates a sense of equality, which is important when you are trying to win as a group.
No individual is more important than any other, and that is what teamwork is all about.
