My Project
Like all teachers, the teachers at our school know that it's hard to teach academics when our students' personal needs haven't been met--together we have created a Fresh Start Station where students can stop by and pick up a few things to freshen up in the morning, like Colgate wisps, mouthwash, deodorant, or a washcloth and a bar of soap.
Our main goal with this project is to secure two lockable storage closets on wheels where we can store personal hygiene supplies in one, and breakfast snacks in the other.
We like to make sure that students are able to grab a snack if they need one in the morning when they get off the bus. With these storage closets on wheels, we will be able to place them in the perfect spots for students to get their personal needs met!
