Storing Our Books Where Everyone Can See

My students need new storage for our ever expanding classroom library! This bookshelf will be the perfect addition to our classroom!

My Students

Fifth graders are a special group. Not quite elementary students any more, but not quite yet middle schoolers, my students are passionate, loving, smart, and funny!

We are a small school on the coast of Maine.

Most of our students' families have been residents of our town their whole lives. Our school budget has been slashed more and more each year because of limited funding from the state.

We do the best we can for students, but sometimes that means not being able to purchase equipment we need for our classrooms.

My Project

My students LOVE to read! Our classroom library is exploding with books. Short stories, picture books, chapter books, graphic novels: We love them all! Help us organize them in our classroom with this perfect new book shelf!

Getting my students to read can sometimes be very tricky.

But by offering many different types of books, my students are constantly begging for more time in the day to read. Our library is currently housed in three old, broken book shelves.

A new shelf would alleviate this problem and help us store and choose our "Just Right" books! We could easily promote the books we love so more students can enjoy them.
