This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the Lunar New Year approaches, it's an opportunity for my students to have a fresh start for those who enjoy setting resolutions. The 2025 Lunar New Year will begin almost at the same time as the second semester at our school. This will be a perfect time to have the resources my students need, such as a cabinet for students to store work. I have requested a locking storage cabinet to use in my classroom. I have cabinets in the classroom and they are full. I am looking for additional storage in my classroom that is not only easily accessible, but secure for those items that need a little bit of extra security.
Not only can I use the cabinet to store our classroom supplies, but also students' personal items and items that I use to reward them.
In addition to the supplies for class, many students prefer to not share lockers with anyone and I often get asked to store personal items for them. I never have a secure place to do so. I will be able to use this locking cabinet.
