Help me give my students a writing platform that will encourage them to complete writing assignments and create stories to share with the world.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are having a hard time with their writing projects during this period of virtual learning. Where they would usually share with peers as they write and feed off of each others' energy, now they upload assignments. I'm the only feedback they get outside of family. I think StoryboardTHAT would help reignite my students' creative flow in a fun way. Differentiation would be incorporated via the style of book created. StoryboardTHAT allows students to create graphic comics and other illustrated writings within the confines of their writing topics, interests, and styles. Once completed these writings could be uploaded to our class web page for all to enjoy.
We are a Title I school.
The majority of the students come from economically disadvantaged homes; 97% are minorities, 87% ESOL, and 95% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Our students are dedicated to achieving academic success. They work hard and though some are identified as being "below grade level" academically, they are undaunted. They want to turn in their work and want to have that work appreciated.
My Project
A StoryboardTHAT subscription will motivate my students to complete writing projects and create original stories outside of those projects. It will give my kids back their voices. Before the pandemic my students loved writing and sharing stories with each other. Two years ago we utilized StoryboardTHAT and even my 2nd graders love it. I feel that if we bring this resource back to my students they will find their love of writing again. The stories they write could be the books we read in the future. I want that for them.
