Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My main goal for my 4th-grade classroom is to assist my students in achieving not only grade-level reading skills but also to cultivate a lasting love for reading. Due to the impact of COVID, numerous students lacked appropriate reading materials at home. To remedy this, I aim to encourage daily reading in the classroom and provide books that reflect my students' diverse cultures and identities. These books will motivate the students to work on their reading and fluency abilities and provide them with stories that show they can pursue anything they desire.
