My students need storage space for their supplies so they have adequate space to work comfortably whether that be alone or in a group.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students attend a small school in a rural location just outside of Morgantown, West Virginia. They come from various cultural and economic backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common....a positive attitude and outlook on learning. It's important to mention this group of students was extremely welcoming to me as I was new to this school but not to teaching. That showed me just how caring and cooperative they were. They love to help each other and other classes out whenever they can.
My students enjoy doing individual activities as well as group activities.
Although I encourage group work, it can sometimes become difficult to work in groups because of space and work area. My students use tables instead of the traditional desk. The tables have lots of positives, but one negative is storage. The students have to leave their materials on their desk while working. I would love to see the have the space to work cooperatively!
These seat sacks will allow my students to work cooperatively without fighting supplies that currently have to sit on top of the group table. Children at this age have a difficult time with organization and space so the fact that there isn't a designated storage spot for supplies makes things a little more difficult. Sometimes the students end up getting irritated with each other because of messiness or invasion of space. These seat sacks would allow for organization which will allow the students to focus on what's important....their education. Please consider donating towards seat sacks for our classroom! Thank you!
