My students need a bin center and containers to organize station materials.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Healey's classroom raised $613
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students love engaging learning materials to spark their desire for creativity.
The students in our program all have autism.
They love coming to our school everyday and they see our classroom as their home base. They know that they are getting new learning materials from an earlier project. Now they are going to need a place to store the new materials. This will promote their independence and vocational practice, as they learn to be stewards of their own space.
My Project
The students in our program all have autism. They are in different stages of language acquisition. Having their learning materials organized in a neat center with clear bins will promote their language use. Imagine a student gesturing for an object in the bins and being able to learn to make an active verbal request to gain access to something fun and enriching. Coupled with a social interaction! Students will be able to then manage the materials and support each others language growth in IEP goal based centers.
Research shows that organization of the learning environment is the key to student progress.
The center storage and clear bins will communicate high standards to students through organization. And it will inspire them by showing off all of the possibilities in our classroom.
More than half of students from low‑income households
