Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school being Title 1 and 100% free breakfast and lunch, it is difficult to get the funding for great resources each year. Many of our classrooms in the older portion of the building provide minimal storage space for teachers. In addition, my classroom has student tables and no desks. Therefore, my students will have no storage space for their learning materials!
Rolling storage carts would provide my table groups the necessary space to store their materials and keep them within a quick reach when they're needed!
Students need a reliable space for keeping their materials safe and organized. The carts would also help prevent students from losing items as well as promote a sense of community since they would be shared with their entire table.
