it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is filled with energetic, curious learners who are eager to explore, create, and innovate, especially when given access to the right resources. Many of my students come from under-resourced backgrounds, and ensuring they have the necessary tools for hands-on STEM activities is a significant challenge. However, with the proper support, they can overcome these barriers and excel in their STEM education.
I am seeking funding for a portable STEM supply center that will contain essential materials—ranging from basic science lab tools to engineering and design supplies—that are crucial for STEM learning.
This mobile resource center will allow my students to engage in hands-on experiments, coding projects, robotics, and other STEM-related activities, regardless of where they are in the classroom.
The portable supply center will give my students the independence to access the materials they need to explore STEM concepts in a more flexible and organized way. It will empower them to take ownership of their learning and foster problem-solving skills as they engage in creative projects. Moreover, it will help me efficiently manage resources, ensuring that every student has what they need to fully participate in STEM activities—no matter their background or the constraints of our classroom.
With this support, I will be able to provide my students with the resources that are essential for their growth in STEM fields, helping them build critical skills for the future. By providing consistent access to tools and materials, we can bridge the gap in resources and give students the opportunity to thrive in STEM education.
