This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are special needs children who enjoy working in our garden. Most come from low-income families and do not get to do many fun activities. They do feel like our garden is fun and they learn a lot from it.
With a shed and tool organizer, we will be able to keep our tools organized and in order.
The students will learn how to better care for their equipment and take pride in the items we do have. It is difficult right now because we really do not have a place of our own to keep the garden tools. Our students have worked hard and we have put in many projects to get what we need. Now we need a safe place to store them.
The wheelbarrow will help us to move the dirt, gravel, and sand that we have around the area better. They will be trying to landscape the area and this will be a big help.
