They fluency cards are helping my students become better readers. They have to read and then answer questions. Even though it may slow them down some, they are having to read to understand. Then they will work on their speed.\r\nWith the magnetic tiles, our students are standing and working as a team to help make words. It is very interactive for them and they are enjoying doing it. Many have a tough time working with others, so it is nice to see them working as a team. They are up and moving as they are doing it.\r\nThe alphabet cards are nice because we can use them as flash cards, but we also use them to play games. It makes it fun for our students. The students are so very excited to be able to get out in the garden and watch the stuff they planted grow, continue to plant new items, and clean around the area. This is also helpful because with other types of flags sometimes a student doesn't know their flag has been pulled, but the \"POP\" noise makes it very clear. Since they can attach to the desk, it keeps them from moving them or them becoming a distraction. However, it is helping. With the organizer, we were able to put the mini books that we send home weekly. My students enjoy using these and are eager to do their work.\r\nWe now have enough to last us for some time. This is because of your giving to this project. The students were so excited to add new items to our garden. They dug new holes for our blackberries, while adding a barrier to keep the water in. We added wood chips to help with keeping the moisture. The new blackberry bushes helped up come up with some new ideas and projects for that area.\r\nThey have planted some of the seeds in the containers with the lights and those are coming along well. We hope to be able to put them outside soon. They enjoyed transplanting the other plants into the raised beds we have.\r\nWe have talked about when we start harvesting the crops what we can do with the extras we have. They had great ideas which included helping our residents of our community and even giving to those that have helped in the garden.\r\nThank you so very much for helping or garden thrive a little more.
