Storage Makes This Teacher Smile

Help me give my students storage items to help keep our center time organized. The IKEA Trofast allows our centers to remain organized with all the items we need in one place!

My Students

My students are from a small rural community. We have four towns that feed into our district. Our school is made up of kindergarten through 3rd grade. We have 5 sections of each. My students are very eager to learn and love having the opportunity to explore new things.

The students in my classroom are very active and inquisitive.

The love to learn new things, build things, and make slime. They surprise me every day with the new things they say and do. I am honored to be able to spend time with these students everyday and watch them learn and grow.

My Project

My students spend a majority of their day in our classroom. I want to maximize our space by making sure our items are organized and easy to get too! The Ikea Trofast shelf will help my students easily get started on their math and literacy center time by making sure all the materials are in one place! No need to try and find something across the room.

When things are organized and students have all the supplies they need in one place, they can spend more time on the learning taking place.

The Container Store organizers will allow us to utilize our flexible seating better. We have some great flexible seating options but that means we have to have a place for our student notebooks. The multi-purpose bin will allow us to keep our notebooks in our own personal bin and stay organized!

The black Ikea stools will be a great seat choice at guided reading. It gives a different option from students normal chair and allows them to be more engaged and work on core strength.
