My Students

My students are thinkers; they are creative and curious. My students are grateful for what they have. In our school, we learn through doing, engaging, thinking, and questioning. Students have come from many walks of life, rural, urban, and suburban and come together as adolescents who still embrace the innocence of childhood.

We are a small school with just over 100 students, each eager to be a shakers and movers of our future.

We use hands-on learning to help apply what they learn in the classroom to what they can do with it in the real world.

My Project

We have been running a student-led store for a couple years now. Not realizing just how successful it would be, we did not invest in any additional storage. Now we know that we need storage cabinet and bins for some of our store items so that we can continue to expand our student store.

Students have requested that we begin to sell school supplies and school attire.

They are excited that our store has done so well that all students are participating and purchasing items. In addition, it has given students a chance to learn financial literacy and beginning economics. Help us continue this growth and love of learning.
