My school is in Georgia, and our school district is home to students from PreK-12th grade. 100% of our students qualify for free lunch and breakfast, and many of my students are assisted with food. My students have zeal and are motivated and interested to learn. This school year has started with many obstacles, however This year after teaching 3rd grade for 3 years. I was moved to 4th grade. This means starting over in many ways. With all the changes this donation will make it easier for my students to find small group resources in one place. The students have math books and manipulatives we use in small groups and currently, the containers have fallen apart making it hard for students to be independent during this time.
Also moving to a new classroom and grade level can be stressful without the proper place to store classroom items.
This project would give us 6 new spaces to store our items making it easy for the students to grab their materials, manipulatives, and books and begin small group activities in a timely manner.
This would be beneficial in our classroom to help it run smoothly. Thank you for all your assistance in bringing this project to life!
