Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from different economic backgrounds. Mostly, my students are low-income. They are curious, creative, smart, and love hands-on activities. Engaging in challenging projects gives them opportunities to think outside the box and find solutions. Our school is nestled in heart of Echo Park, an exciting city quickly- evolving neighborhood, and a community of young creative, artists, and musicians.
The new school year is about to begin.
Personalized storage bins will transform the classroom. Putting a bin in each cubby will decrease clutter.
The organization is music to a teacher’s soul. When things in our classroom have a designated home, students take better care of resources, we know exactly where to find them, and it adds a sense of calm to our classroom.
