Children learn through play. Painting exercises a child’s brain. kids learn how to express their own feelings by transforming their own ideas and feelings onto paper. By proving my students with art supplies while in the outdoor area, will allow them to have fun and to develop motor skills by holding a paintbrush to coloring with crayons. In addition to getting their hands physically dirty creating art, they will have the opportunity to expand their vocabulary by learning words for colors, shapes, and various actions. Studies have shown that through art activities children strengthen both critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. For example, exploring through art will encourage my students to try new ideas in other areas of life. Not only will this further spark creativity and imagination, but they can also use critical thinking to react to new experiences and problem-solving when necessary.
