My Project
This flex-space mobile storage bin center will be a sturdy storage solution, organizing the materials of 24 students for years to come. It is made of sturdy wood and sits upon high quality casters, making it the ideal furniture for an ever-changing classroom setup. The bins it comes with are Lakeshore’s thick, sturdy bins that can outlast a decade if student use and abuse. I currently have the means of storing 18 students’ materials on a wire cart that is much better suited to holding a classroom library than student work as the bins must lift up to come in and out.
These bins slide onto sturdy, non-tipping shelves, which will ensure that all of my students can learn to manage their materials independently even if their motor skills are less developed than their peers.
This compact storage for 24 students will make great use of space in my classroom.
