This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"A place for everything, and everything in it's place." biggest challenge is classroom space, I share my room with another teacher. We both work with children with special needs, teaching math. My students need to access math materials to be successful students.

My students are inspiring, because they all have special needs, however that doesn't keep them from trying.

My students attend a Title 1 school in a high poverty area. My school has a student population composed of low socioeconomic status families.

My Project

With the use of the organizational carts and bins, my students will be able to independently access classroom materials. The students will learn how to manage materials, along whilst working on math concepts. We have limited classroom space, organization will be key to creating a clutter free environment. Children with special needs tend to be easily distracted, I hope to reduce the tendency with an organized learning space.

Donations to my classroom project will improve my classroom by providing stability for children with exceptionalities.

I hope to instill confidence that stems from the structure of an orderly classroom atmosphere.
