My Students

My students are in a school that is 40% economically disadvantaged and live in the rural foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Our school encourages its students to strive for excellence.

Due to class enrollment and room size, I can not meet the requirements of social distancing.

My students are such hard workers and wear their mask to help keep us all safe.

My Project

My students have worked really hard at wearing masks, using hand sanitizers, and antibacterial wipes. Our custodians disinfect our rooms every evening and door handles throughout the day.

I would like to go the extra step and provide these PPE shields/partitions to stop the germs from travelling to nearby students.

Not only will these shields keep students safe, but they could write on them with expo markers when we review or draw a cell organelle.

I can barely separate my students two feet apart due to the size of my room and class enrollment. These students are like my children and I want to keep them safe while having fun learning.
