My students are fifth-graders from a rural area in West Virginia. Our middle school consists of grades 5-8. My learners come to the middle school from two elementary schools in the county. Our school offers 100% free breakfast and lunch.
I want my students to be able to remain in school for in person learning.
This is sometimes difficult without much needed supplies.
We have been fully in-person the entire year. In our area, we have seen a great increase in the number of COVID cases lately. I want to stay fully open and at the same time, keep myself and my students as healthy as possible.
We need masks, cleaning wipes, hand sanitizer, and first aid kits so we can stay as safe as possible during the COVID pandemic.
My project is aimed at simply keeping everyone as safe and healthy as we possibly can so we can keep schools fully open. Each student will be given a mask when needed. Paper towels, tissues, wipes, and hand sanitizer will also be available to students as needed.
