My Students
I work with a diverse group of students that thrive off hands-on learning. As a teacher of science I try to provide a variety of opportunities to explore and create.
Many students are in my class because they are curious about medical fields.
I teach AP Biology in addition to Anatomy and Physiology Honors. These are demanding courses that allow students to engage with each other and possibly work towards a future they would like to create for themselves. I enjoy working with these students and trying to open doors they may not have known existed.
My Project
The supplies I am requesting will provide real life experience for my students. Many of my kids would like to go into healthcare and utilizing these training materials will give them a better view of what healthcare is really like.
The students will get that hands on, life-like experience that many hope for in my classroom through the funding of this grant and the STB CLASS BUNDLE.
They will understand what it is like to try and save someone's life. A project like this in school extends my abilities as a healthcare provider to them and hopefully will give them the confidence they would need to act in an emergency situation.
