Here at our elementary school we have been seeing an increase in students' difficulty to regulate their emotions post pandemic. These social emotional tools will help me provide more engagement in the counseling corner while assisting students with their emotional needs.
Currently, I am in need of more sensory tools for the "calming corner".
In addition to this, my students could benefit from more reading and written activities to express their emotions.
Not only are students here at Kīhei showing the effects of social restrictions during the pandemic, we have also taken on some students that have been displaced by the Maui wildfires.
