My Students

Bahhhh! Help my kids bring goats to the classroom!

My students are from rural America, yet have no idea about farming animals or management.

Many struggle with monetary funding, special needs, issues at home. Having hands-on projects can make a big difference in the lives of these students, and animals can teach needed responsibility.

My Project

With dehorners and hoof trimmers, I will have the ability to teach kids basic animal husbandry and management. Halters will be used to walk animals for exercises, and water troth will insure fresh clean water at all times. Students will have a hands-on approach to learning animal science, and have the ability to learn responsibilities in caring for an animal.

Animals can be super expensive, coupled with feed and supplies.

I would love to teach these kids in a hands-on manner, involving them in management and understanding of where food comes from.
