My students need these lap trays and wobble stools! We use flexible seating daily, and I would love to offer a variety for them to choose from so they can complete their best work.
I have 18 highly diverse students this year. My classroom has 11 girls and 7 boys. I teach children who range from being considered gifted and talented to dyslexic learners.
Each morning, I stand at my doorway and greet each student by looking them in the eyes and saying hello, and if I am lucky, I may get a hug.
My school is located in a community that has highly involved parents. We place an emphasis on character education in a variety of social situations.
My Project
Providing a variety of work areas in a classroom will help me to create a safe and comfortable work environment for my students. Stools will allow them to spread out and find their unique spot at my back counter, in lieu of being confined to their desks all day.
Lap trays will grant my students the opportunity to take their work to the floor and utilize the many anchor charts and word walls I have in the room without compromising their quality of work.
Each of my students are a unique being and I would love to offer a multitude of options to fit their needs.
