This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to provide my kindergarten students with new stools for our group table. At this table, we do everything from reading or math groups, and individual assessments to games and activities to reinforce kindergarten skills. Some students choose this table as it is their safe place if they are having a difficult time regulating their feelings and emotions. I would like to give the students something sturdy, comfortable, and colorful to sit on while they learn. It is important to have different types of flexible seating with in our kindergarten classroom.
