Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We'd like to provide our students with different types of seating in our classroom so we can empower them to choose where and how they learn best. Currently, we only have the old fashioned small wooden chairs.
We hope that these stools will increase engagement by providing the option of seat choice.
We'd also like to use them from family events. Every month we host a Family Friday, and parents come in and sit in our tiny old wooden chairs. It is uncomfortable and those wooden chairs are starting to show the wear and tear. Having these stools will make those events more comfortable for our families.
