This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Adding transitional kindergarteners to my classroom has been a joy. They now utilize my back small group table for many of their activities and lessons. The problem is that the stools I have at the table are not secure for squirrely little 4-year-olds.
Sturdy stools will allow my youngest students safety and security while they are actively participating in reading lessons and activities.
I am also trying to put together individual LEGO kits to use as a free center choice and an incentive for good behavior. I love introducing new books everyday to our kinder and transitional students. Fun new books are also being requested! It is a learning process for some of my little friends to keep their hands to themselves and we're constantly working on being kind to others. Thank you for these things and all the little classroom supplies that go with!
