I teach a group of 28 diverse and energetic students. My students strive each day to reach the goals we have set as a class and meet their academic goals.
Many of these students face different adversities due to English Language, attention, and high academic need.
These students have taught me as much as I have taught them, and I want them to be as successful as possible!
Each child in my classroom loves learning but has individual needs to be successful. The learning strategies and environment each of my students needs could be met with the ability of my students to be comfortable and collaborative when learning!
My Project
Many of my students have daily outside struggles that may inhibit their learning, and I strive every day to create a positive learning environment in my classroom. Minimizing the small daily worries of comfort, attention, and group work in the classroom will allow me to reach each of my students with more impact.
Every day my students come to school ready to learn, and I have found that movement, collaboration, and flexibility allow my students to learn the best.
Providing my students with these flexible seating options will allow them the privilege to learn and move around the classroom by allowing them to wiggle and be comfortable while they work.
These different additions for flexible seating will help all of my students access their learning by minimizing everyday distractions.
