My Students

My students are very active and social. They love working together and creating projects any chance they get. Our class especially loves all things Harry Potter! With ongoing budget cuts and lack of funding, I am so thankful for programs like this to get my class what it needs to be successful.

We enjoy working and learning in small groups.

We need materials to make these groups successful. Small groups teach us to be cooperative and creative. These are important life skills!

My Project

We need stools for small groups. The stools would make a huge difference because they take up less space than bulky chairs and can be stored under tables when not in use. We need stools so we can get into small groups quickly without dragging chairs across the room.

We play math games every day in math and we need more!

We learn new math concepts in small groups so while one group is with me (the teacher), another group is playing cooperative math games. My students love the board games we have already. I need more to cover other important math skills like fractions.
