My Project
After teaching my students simple concepts of physics, I would love to take the class outside to expand their learning and curiosity as they exercise their bodies using stomp rockets.
Launching rockets will engage my students to apply their math and physics knowledge as they analyze air pressure, weight, and force through trial and error.
Students will work in teams to launch rockets. They will measure and record the length of their missions. Additionally, they will be encouraged to make adjustments such as adding extra weight or applying less pressure.
I am also requesting math puzzles to give my students opportunities to enhance their math skills while enjoying a choice activity. My students love “puzzling.”
