This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to read. They are eager to pick up books, run their hands along the colorful spines, and choose just the right story for them.

As bilingual learners, reading chapter books in English can be daunting, but high interest graphic novels make students excited for independent reading.

Students especially love getting into series, which bring comfort and joy in the form of familiar characters in new adventures.

By funding this project, you are supporting multiple classrooms of upper elementary readers who love to borrow books from my classroom library!
