My Students
My students are from an inner city school which is Title I.
They attend a school where 100% of the students are on free lunch and approximately 40% of the students are homeless.
My students are eager to learn about personal finance, but face many social and economic obstacles.
Many of my students live in high poverty communities. This course is design to give them the knowledge to make good financial decisions. My goal to provide them with the tools and opportunities to match their eagerness to be academically and athletically successful.
My Project
These supplies will provide my classroom with materials the school does not always provide. Many of our students are from low income households and are not able to purchase basic schools supplies. As we approach a new school year, I am seeking assistance in replenishing our stock of everyday supplies.
The maps and dry erase markers will very used to create student driven interactive lessons.
From highlighter packs to 3-hole punchers, this list items will ensure my students have the tools for success.
Some of the items will be used to help our classroom run efficiently and keep hygienically safe.
